We are now arriving in Peace River. Please stay seated until the bus has entered the depot and come to a full stop. If you are a connecting passenger going further north to Grimshaw, Manning, High Level, or Hay River, this bus will leave at eight AM.
Before I left Calgary I stopped in at an HMV and picked myself up Come With Us. The songs on that album have a lot of depth when played together in succession- I'm very impressed with the Chemical Brothers on this album. When I got home I slept a bit, insulted people's spelling on GameFAQs, and installed my new Saitek pad thinger. The Windows default drivers weren't cutting it so I figured I'd let Saitek rape my computer with bad software by putting the CD in. I can't believe how not incredibly retarded Saitek's drivers are. It actually asked me if I wanted to install its smart key programming thing or whatever instead of just doing it on its own. All it did was update the drivers, no extra programs or buttons hanging around. Now I can get around to playing LoD with a gamepad that doesn't completely blow. Hurrah wireless.
Calgararaay update.

Yesterday I spent $150 on stuff. I walked into Future Shop and looked around a bit until I noticed they had a CD section. In I walk, up to a rack labelled "UNDERGROUND." And omg I find the Chemical Brothers, Orbital, Underworld, DJ Tiesto, and a bunch of other nonshitty people too numerous to name. I bought myself Push the Button, Work, and Anthology which came up to around $65. Afterwards I found myself this wireless Saitek controller that I'm going to play the SNES Star Fox with when it finishes downloading. Next time I'm down here I'm bringing more money.
So I've realized that Orbital aren't really that great.

Snivilisation and In Sides rock despite a few minor flaws, yeah, but outside of that not much of their stuff is that great. Middle of Nowhere sucks, the Green and Blue Albums are a sea of mediocre with the occasional pile of rockitude like Choice or Transient, and Orbital 2 is good but as bland as they come outside of Lush 3-1/2. Plus most of their EPs suck, outside of The Saint and that one with the live Satan on it. Bleh.
I should listen to The Altogether sometime. In the meantime, plz dnt h8 me aquaaaaaaomg.

Alright. My second album is just about done (all it needs is some mastering and proofing) and I finally put together a CD cover that works. You can find it here. I hope you guys like it. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Enterprise finale script:

Riker: *wakes up* "omg. Troi, I just had this terrible dream. There
were all these bad actors playing out this bad show about a previous
version of the Enterprise. The writing was terrible and boring and it got
cancelled because no one watches it."
Troi: *jiggle jiggle*
"I'm eye candy!"
Riker: "You sure are."
So I'm going to Calgary.

A while back I got a phone call at like 11:30 PM. It was my cousin from Calgary. She wanted me to come down for spring break. She promised food. So now I'm going.
When I get there I want to find an electronics store and pick up a Thrustmaster (...) Firestorm (...) Dual Power 3 (....). It's made by Guilemot. So it must be good. http://us.thrustmaster.com/pro...ucts/d_prd.php?p=T40&fam=5 The guy from IGN said something about it being like an extension of his own hands almost. Everywhere else it got rave reviews. So I think buying one can't turn out so bad. If I can't find it, I have a backup pad, some random Saitek one I saw at Future Shop.
The reason I want a gamepad is because the one I currently have blows ass. Here's a picture: http://img.neoseeker.com/image...amp;f=axispad_profilelarge.jpg Looks like it might not be so bad. But take a closer look at the analogue sticks. One of them's pointed downwards a bit. That's because they're extremely loose. And they get worse as you use them. Notice some of the buttons are slightly off. That's because they aren't placed properly. It requires actual force to get the thing to recognise button presses. In fact, the only thing on that pad that doesn't blow would be the switch in between the sticks that doesn't do anything. Eh.
Anyway, Calgary. On the way there I plan to start the math homework that I didn't do all this year. Roughly three chapters or so. I wonder if he'll still let me finish it and hand it in. The bus ride's going to be like 10-11 hours, so I'm going to have quite a bit of time to myself.
I just saw an ad on GameFAQs.

aquatak.ath.cx:99/projects/designs/incomplete/dot/ (pardon if server isn't up)
It's got some serious
problems in IE.
I put the Morrowind nighttime sky in the background.
It's like 110 KB, though.

So I didn't go to school since Wednesday, on which I had to come home because of severe back pains. We came to the conclusion, my dad and I, that this was due to the fact that my old bed (this crappy futon thing) is like sleeping on sand. It looks like it might be comfortable, but after a few years it starts to take its toll on you. He said something along the lines of 'We need to get you a new bed.' and I probably responded with something like 'Yes.' Fast forward to Saturday (sorry for using that phrase, really). He yells up that I should wait downstairs because the delivery guys will be here at one to receive us the bed. o_o on my face. But he didn't see it because I was lying down playing Paper Mario (which > Final Fantasy VII). The movers came, they dropped off the pieces, I assembled it, and now here I am. With a really big bed in my room and a crappy futon thing that I'm going to now use the couch form of. The new bed is freaking huge too. Like higher than my waist. When I asked my dad about it he said something like 'Yep, that's how they make 'em these days.'
In other news, San Francisco Rush 2049 is incredibly awesome so I ripped all the music from it. aquatakat.ca/stuff/rush2049.tar. Download if you like upbeat electronica that loops a lot so they can put it in video games. Or something like that.
