There's more to this site than the blog. Really.

Half Life 2: Episode One.

I swear. They must have had to sacrifice a lamb to Satan or something to get this thing to run like it does. My X1600 runs it on all high settings + 4X AA + 16X AF at 50+ FPS. Which is absolutely nuts.

It's a fun game. You should get it.

My dad is weird.

This was a while ago. I had gotten a ride home from Bradley's stepdad or whatever. I walked in and started making myself a sandwich and my dad goes "Did you get a ride home from Bradley's Dadley?" I go "Haw haw, you're hilarious." I continue the sandwich for a bit. A few seconds later he goes, in a really serious tone, "I ASKED you a QUESTION." "...Um, yes."

And there was this other time too. I noticed how he was cutting his cheese and I told him it was easier to do it the other way and he just kind of goes "Don't tell me how to cut my damn cheese." I dunno.

He's a funy [sic] guy.

I think my creativity came back.

Which is good. I mean I don't really do much in my spare time but browse the Interweb. The only thing keeping my brain in order was making site designs and playing with Fruity Loops. And making good stuff with that is better than making bad stuff. I suppose.

Anyway, you should go download 16 Bit because I think it's good.

I hate computers. Computers are dumb.

So this lady from the SPCA brings her computer in today. She's computer illiterate and can't really tell me what's wrong with it other than "it doesn't start." So I tell her to come back in an hour or something and I'll let her know. The computer is under warranty for labour so it's not a big deal.

Anyway, I start working on it and Windows doesn't boot. I just figure something is corrupted or something so I decide to just run a Windows repair and let that fix it. But the install CD won't even recognise that the drive is in there. So I spend hours working on this damn computer. Trying to get the BIOS to even read the drive (which stopped happening at some point).

Anyway. In the end I figured that it was the IDE cable that had borked.

I don't know why I'm writing this. Maybe someone will be amused that I spent hours on something when it was just the cable. Eh.

Someone spraypainted "POOP" on a stop sign near my house.

I really, really, really want an iAudio 6. Here, have a picture.

* 4GB.
* Plays MP3s, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, WMA, wave, and MPEG-4 video encoded to the size of its screen
* Supports bookmarks
* Built in microphone
* Line in recording
* Recognised as a mass storage device as well as a Windows Media Connect thinger
* Built in USB host
* ~15 hour battery life playing audio
* Touch sensitive controls that aren't dumb like the iPod's

It's $250 American. So like $280 Canadian provided I can get it from my store's supplier. I also want it because the headphone jack on my X5 borked and I really don't want to go through Cowon's arduous RMA procedure.

LOOK AT HOW SMALL IT IS.

*points at stomach* You're going down, bitch!

Err. Yeah.

I have a little bit of a gut. It's flabby and ugly and it jiggles when I jump up and down (videos may or may not be available on request). I want it to go away. So for the next eight months I'm going to walk four and a half miles every day plus climbing the equivalent of six flights of stairs per day.

Mmhmm. Just letting you know. Or maybe I'm warning you in case I ever show up on your door. My jiggling is hypnotic.

BAM - new design.

I didn't really like the old one. But I do this one. It's bright and blue and glossy and it has a tree on it.

Seriously. You can't beat foliage.

My daily routine is odd.

During the day I find that I have little to do. Apparently during the summertime the computer store is really quiet and whatnot. It's an interesting change of pace, considering how there's always something to do at generic burger job. Hm.

It does give me time to code Aqua Boards 5 which is nice. That's coming along nicely if you want to have a look.

The things on TV at 2:30 in the morning.
